![]() Material - so much better in my opinion and less likely to get damaged! I find I am having to baby the Magic Keyboard whereas I had no such worries with the Folio Touchįunction keys - I really miss these on the Magic Keyboard, especially when listening to music! Whereas with the Folio Touch, I'll tend to leave it at one viewing angle because of the kickstand mechanism. I find that with the Magic Keyboard, I'll keep adjusting viewing angles if my posture changes or if I move my iPad around on the table. With the Folio touch the screen is further away, and I found I rarely touched the screen at all and the experience was a lot closer to that of a laptop than with the Magic Keyboard.Įasier to adjust viewing angles. The screen is a bit closer to me with the Magic Keyboard - so I find that I use both the keyboard/trackpad and the screen depending on what I am doing, which is nice as sometimes it's still quicker to use the screen. Also, I didn't like feeling the keys and trackpad when I used the Folio Touch in tablet mode. (I have a skin on mine so I'm not so worried about using it without a case). Trackpad is way better as it allows clicking throughout the whole trackpad - I select text quite a lot with note taking, so this was getting annoying with the Folio Touch keyboardĮasy to remove the iPad - I almost forgot how thin and light the iPad is on its own. Smaller footprint - this was one of the major factors why I had second thoughts about the Folio Touch Will return one of them this week (Apple's 14 day return period), and at the moment I'm leaning heavily towards keeping the Magic Keyboard. I bought the Folio Touch last week, and a few days later had some second thoughts and bought the Magic Keyboard.
